Last year I was stunned and honored to be featured on Apartment Therapy. (They wrote an article entitled The Heroic Bedroom Makeover Project about parts of our “master suite” redecoration, namely the tank photograph and M16 lamp project.) This was a big deal to me because I love Apartment Therapy. So much inspiration and brilliance is curated on this one site, and if there is one feed to add to your subscription list it is this one.
Every year Apartment Therapy allows its readers to vote on their favorite blogs in various categories for the awards known as The Homies. I have gotten so much inspiration from the sites that have made the list or won in past years, so this morning when I found out that I had been nominated for awards in two categories I was thrilled and überexcited! Woo hoo!!!!!

Congratulations! I’m new to your blog and I am so glad I found it. I smile reading it. I may have missed your mentioning what kind of tile you used in your kitchen, if so forgive me. What kind of tile is it? The size? Where did you purchase it? Thanks for your attention and needless to say you have my vote.

As for the tile, I never did share the name of it – shame on me! ;) It’s Armstrong’s Rustic Wood Vinyl 12 x 12 inch tiles. I ordered them online for in-store pickup at Home Depot. Here’s the link:
