The seven day juice fast is over. Without trying to be overly dramatic, it was one of the most difficult weeks of my life. The following video pretty much sums up how I felt this morning, eating my apple and raw almond butter.
Not that it wasn’t an extremely valuable experience. I’m sure that like childbirth, soon I’ll forget how painful it was and be ready to go with round two. Maybe. I definitely can see working in 1-3 day fasts a few times a year for regular maintenance. For now, I’m enjoying the return to normal meals.
Tomorrow, after my weigh-in and body fat analysis with my 12-week challenge trainer, I’ll be back with the details of the results. I’ll also share what I learned during the experience and some tips that could make it easier.
